World of Outlaws Push Truck Now a Diecast

Here’s the missing piece to your sprint car diecast collection: a World of Outlaws push truck. Acme Trading Company announced that it will produce a 1:18-scale 1982 Chevrolet C/K 20. It comes complete, with a “weathered, dirty exterior, a wood push block, and more.”

Acme Trading Company president and CEO, Mat Long, thought up the idea for the unique collectible.

“We had the tooling for a long-body Chevy pickup, so I asked our graphic designers to come up with a design for a World of Outlaws push truck, like one of the many you see pushing off the sprint cars on a Friday or Saturday night,” Long said. “We ran it by the World of Outlaws for approval, and they loved it.”

Acme Trading Company said they’re the only diecast company with tooling for sprint cars. The made diecasts for 22 World of Outlaws sprint car teams this season. The company also produces diecasts for vintage road racing, drag racing, hot rods, 1950s and 1960s classics, and vintage muscle cars.

“All of our diecasts are serialized,” said Long. “When we sell out of a color scheme, we will never make that same car again. We pride ourselves that we have details like opening trunks, doors, hoods and full engines. Our sprint cars have fully detailed Chevy and Ford engines. The wings are removable. We even have fully detailed cockpits with gauges, confirmed by the team of each car.”

Nevertheless, a World of Outlaws push truck is a first for Acme Trading Company.

“The response has been great,” Long said. “Not all collectors will want one, but enough collectors will want one. We will have an estimated production run of 500 pieces.”

The World of Outlaws push truck retails for $119.95. You can preorder it through Acme Trading Company by clicking here.
