The PRI Trade Show returns this year at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on December 9–11, 2021. Registration opens today, which requires all attendees to enroll in membership with Performance Racing Industry (PRI). Annual memberships start at $40. However, this year you can opt for “show only” access for free.
“The membership requirement at the PRI Show is a direct reaction to threats to the racing industry,” said Performance Racing Industry President Dr. Jamie Meyer. “It is an important step in PRI’s mission to bring the businesses and individuals in our industry together. Under the PRI Membership brand, we will be able to work together to build, protect, and promote the racing community.”
The PRI “Pro Member” level, which costs $40 annually, features several benefits. Among those include:
- Entrance to the PRI Trade Show
- “Save Our Racecars Advocacy”
- Inclusion in the PRI Political Action Committee (PAC)
- A 10% discount on PRI merchandise
- Subscriptions to the PRI Magazine digital edition and the PRI eNewsletter
- Access to the PRI jobs board
Racers, enthusiasts, fans, and other stakeholders of the industry are welcome to join, although entrance to the PRI Trade Show is restricted to “qualified attendees.”
Future editions of the PRI Trade Show will require paid membership for entrance.
PRI has ramped up its efforts to address the challenges and needs of the racing industry. Included is support for racetracks to prevent them from closing, advocacy against legal threats to the racing community, and educational programs to help racers and racing-related businesses succeed.
When PRI announced its membership program (see “PRI Membership: Offers Discounts; Required for Show”), more than 300 racing-related business joined. In addition, several companies committed to support the racing industry for a minimum of 10 years to become PRI Founding Members.
