The gusset and tab kit from A & A Manufacturing offers an assortment of items that racers often scramble for when they need them most. “Racing being racing, I’ve had to grab a body tab or gusset for a quick repair in the pits many times,” said Chris Laney, of Torrance, California, who works as a crew chief for a modified and late model team. “Having the A & A tabs and gussets that I have used for years in a storage box makes them handy in the trailer or in the shop.”
The kit contains the following:
- 10 – standard gussets, with a ½” hole
- 10 – standard three-hole gussets,
- 10 – 3/16″ steel chassis tabs, with a ¼” hole
- 10 – 1/8″ steel trick tab, with a ¼” hole
- 10 – .085″ steel body tab, with a ¼” hole
- 10 – 3/16″ steel seat belt tab, with a ½” hole
