Dirt Rich TV: Who’s Behind the American All-Stars’ Title Sponsor

The American All-Star Series Presented by PPM Racing Products has a new title sponsor for 2025: Dirt Rich TV, its streaming provider for its entire season. The man behind Dirt Rich TV, Richard Greene, has covered the sport for nearly a decade. His entry into streaming started humbly by videoing races on his phone at his home track of Wartburg Speedway.

“Looking back at it, it’s terrible,” said Greene of his early work.

However, another videographer, Richard “Flipper” Ford, saw something in Greene’s work.

“[Richard Ford] found me and called me,” Greene said. “We started talking about stuff. He said, ‘I’m Richard Ford, by the way.’ I said, ‘I don’t know who you are, but it’s nice to meet you, nice to talk to you.’”

Soon after, Greene received a call from Michael Rigsby, of Dirt on Dirt, and Greene trained under Ford there. Ford, through his now-defunct Speedway Videos Production, served as the pioneering model for many other videographers when they struck it out on their own.

“We owe pretty much everything to Richard Ford,” said Greene. “He helped us get started, show us what to do and how to do it. You look at many video people around here, it all comes from Richard Ford.”

Greene first started Dirt Rich TV as East Tennessee Dirt Racing. He renamed it to something a bit catchier and less geographically bound, Dirt Rich TV. It has streamed a wide variety of series, tracks and classes over the years, from sprint cars to sport compacts to late models. In addition to the American All-Star Series, Dirt Rich TV broadcasts races also for the Carolina Sprint Tour, Elite Racing Series, Ohio Valley Late Model Dirt Series, among others. However, the small, family-owned operation will follow the entire schedule for the Dirt Rich TV American All-Star Series Presented by PPM Racing Products.

“They’re a good regional series,” Green said of the American All-Star Series. “They’ve got some big names that travel with them. They have great support … they always run four heat races and a B-main.”

The American All-Star Series 2025 continues this Saturday, May 17, at Rockcastle Speedway in Kentucky. To view it on Dirt Rich TV, you can purchase single-event access ($24.99) or opt for the monthly subscription that includes most American All-Star Series races ($34.99/month).
