The American All-Star Series and Beckley Motor Speedway have partnered put on a new trade show in West Virginia, the Mountain State Racing Expo. It will take place March 8-9, 2024, at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.
The show will welcome all forms of motorsports in the area, with vendors, tracks and touring series represented.
“This new trade show is set in an area that lacks a trade show,” the American All-Star Series said in its announcement, “but has a lot of racers and fans.”
Case in point: West Virginia currently has five dirt ovals, one paved oval, one drag strip and a road course, according to Joseph Rush, of the American All-Star Series.
“We feel the timing of this show is perfect for our region as it falls about a month before any racing starts,” said the American All-Star Series in its announcement. “It gives vendors a chance to connect with racers to get the parts and pieces they need to kick off the 2024 season.”
The Mountain State Racing Expo will also offer a racers’ swap meet at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.
The show has announced some of its first exhibitors. Among them include the Beckley Motor Speedway, Dirt2Media American All-Star Series Presented by PPM Products, and MyRacePass.
West Virginia is among one of the more pro-motorsports states in the country. They have a governor-appointed West Virginia Motorsports Committee, of which Rush is a part of. The state also holds an annual West Virginia Motorsports Day in May.
