Charles Moudy is resurrecting Pineridge Speedway. He and his team have grand plans for the Guntown, Mississippi, dirt oval, that has been dormant for a few years now.
“The tornado tore up everything,” Moudy said of the track’s condition. “I took the speedway over on October 13, and we’ve been working sun-up to sundown to upgrade just about everything there.”
Moudy, who has owned and sponsored several race cars, will be making several capital improvements to the track, including extending the track’s size.
Pineridge Speedway announced on its Facebook page that racer Bryan Fortner will run Pineridge Speedway.
The 2024 schedule, including the divisions running, have yet to be determined. The track plans to host its grand reopening early next year.
