Bobby Dragon To Compete In Thunder Road True Value 150

Barre, VT - - Veteran Bobby Dragon of Milton, VT, a former Thunder Road champion and winner of the 1972 Milk Bowl, will drive the Waste Management Chevrolet No. 15 in Saturday's NASCAR Busch North Series True Value 150 at Thunder Road.

Dragon is the 28th driver to enter the 6th annual True Value 150. He finished third in 1999 behind Dale Shaw and Brad Leighton, both of whom have entered Saturday's event. Last year's winner, "Dynamite" Dave Dion and Kip Stockwell, winner of the 1997 inaugural, are also entered. 

"Mark Willoughby the car owner and Waste Management have made it possible for me to make this Thunder Road race and additional sponsors are welcome," Dragon said.

The ACT Dodge Tour will also be in action this Saturday. Reserved seats may be purchased by phone, 802-244-6963 or in person at the Thunder Road office on 7 Stowe Street Waterbury, VT. General admission tickets are being sold at the Thunder Road office and at M&M Beverage on Route 14 in South Barre.

Gates open Saturday at 12:30 pm. ACT qualifying heats start at 5:00 pm. Busch North time trials are slated for 6:15 pm. Estimated post time for the True Value 150 is 8 pm.
