Thunder Road Make-A-Wish Donors Eligible For Prizes

Barre, VT - - Thunder Road championship battles continue to heat up this Thursday on NAPA Make-A-Wish Night. Fans may make donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont, which fulfills special needs of children with life-threatening illnesses. Donors will be eligible to win a variety of prizes, including a leather jacket valued at $500 and 2003 Thunder Road season passes.

Point races remain close in all divisions, especially in the Allen Lumber Street Stocks, where Brendan Moodie Jr of North Wolcott has seen his lead trimmed to 11 points by Rusty "The Logger" DeWees of Elmore. Phil Scott's bid for his third Thunder Road title is being challenged by Dave Pembroke and Jamie Fisher. Scott leads Pembroke 754-712 with Fisher next at 703.

Joe Steffen of Essex Jct, seeking his first NAPA Flying Tiger crown, leads last week's feature winner, Travis Calkins, by 22 points.
