Fireworks, Double Features, Early Post Time At Thunder Road July 4

Barre, VT - - Thunder Road's Fourth of July celebration gets underway at 6 pm this
Thursday to accommodate a Coca-Cola holiday race card that includes double features for
Late Models and NAPA Flying Tiger Sportsmen and a giant aerial fireworks display.
Rain cut last week's program short and with it, Roger Brown's attempt to become the
first NAPA Flying Tiger in over a decade to win three consecutive races. The Lancaster, NH
driver will start 14th when the WDEV Radio event is resumed with 11 laps completed and 19
remaining.
Brown is Thunder Road's only multiple feature winner in any division this season. 
Phil Scott, the Late Model point leader will go after his second win. Chris Hedges of East
Montpelier, the Street Stock point leader, is looking for his first win of the season.
Thunder Road is located in Barre at the top of Quarry Street, one-half mile from Route
14. Gates open at 4 pm. Admission is $10/adults, $3 children (6-12) and $20/family (2
