The season is only one race old but 2001 Pro All Stars Series champion “Sud’n Sam” Sessions finds himself in a familiar spot atop the 2002 PASS point standings. Sessions came home second to Gary Drew in the season-opening New England Dodge Dealers 100, but the Pro All Stars Series rewards licensed drivers with bonus points at each event and those bonus points moved Sessions to the head of the class in the standings.

Sessions has a two-point margin (218-216) over Jeff Taylor in second, and six over Andy Shaw who sits in third with 212. Northern Race Tires Rookie Challenge candidate Johnny Clark has 206 points for fourth while Larry Gelinas rounds out the top five with 202 markers.

Over forty of the Northeast’s top pro stock drivers and teams are expected to attempt to qualify for the inaugural PASS 150 at Unity Raceway on Saturday May 18th. The 28-car field will be set through time trials, a pole dash, heat races and consolation rounds. In addition, Unity Raceway’s own exciting weekly racing divisions will round out the nights’ racing action. Grandstands open at 4 PM with Pro All Stars Series time trials set to get underway at 4:30 PM and racing at 6:00 PM. sharp. Unity Raceway is located on Route 139 in Unity, Maine.
