LATE MODEL 40-LAP “STASH THE CASH” RACE WILL QUALIFY FANS FOR A CHANCE
TO WIN CASH
For the third week in a row, a division at Claremont Speedway will be
competing in an extra distance race. The Late Model division will
compete for 40-laps this Saturday night. And, like the previous two
weeks, the top finishing drivers will be paired off with some lucky fans
to win CASH.

The “Stash the Cash” race this weekend is a qualifier in a two-race
series which will conclude on July 27th. One of the top-qualifying
drivers, along with a paired-off fan will walk away with $300 in Cash.
In victory lane this Saturday night, the top five drivers will select a
fan based on a random drawing of ticket stubs to be matched up with a
fan. Those five fans will be invited back on July 27th to see if the
driver they are matched with can win the race and reward the fan with
$300.

Through the first five weeks of racing, there have been five different
drivers to win in the Late Model division. The division is one of the
most competitive at the 56-year-old track. The defending champion, Aaron
Fellows is leading the points again and has visited victory lane this
season. There are a handful of rookie competitors that are challenging
each week to break the veteran stronghold in the ‘win’ category.

The “Stash the Cash” event will be the spotlight for the racing activity
on Saturday night. Will there be a sixth different winner or will we see
the first two-time winner of the season?

Five other divisions will compete in supporting features to the Late
Models. The NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Modifieds, along with the Pro
Stocks, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Lightening Stocks will all
compete in regular program races.

It was announced midweek that Peter Daniels, defending track Modified
champion, is currently leading the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series New
England Region points race. Daniels is competing for points with
competitors from nine other tracks in New England and New York.
Capturing the regional title comes with much prestige and cash. It is
early yet, but the fans and competitors are behind all of the teams at
Claremont that are eligible for the regional point race in the Modified
division.

Racing action starts at 6:06pm. As always, the Family Four-Pak will get
2 Adults and 2 Kids great seats for JUST$20.00. For more information,
