Canaan USA Speedway Hosts ACT Dodge Tour "Subway Series" Sunday

Canaan, NH - - Canaan USA Speedway in Canaan, NH hosts the stock car racing version of a "Subway Series" this Sunday, June 23, when three American Canadian Tour (ACT) divisions, Late Models, NAPA Flying Tigers, and Street Stocks, compete in series events on the New Hampshire one-third mile oval. More than 110 race cars are expected.

Among the 35 ACT Dodge Tour Late Models to have filed early Subway 100 entries are defending ACT champion Pete Fecteau of Morrisville, VT, current ACT point leader and two-time Thunder Road champion Phil Scott, and Canadian Patrick Laperle, a winner two weeks ago at White Mountain Motorsports Park.

More than 40 Flying Tigers are expected for the 50-lap Subway Grand Slam Series contest. Craig Bushey of Cambridge, VT is the Grand Slam Series leader after winning the opening round at Airborne Raceway two weeks ago.

Also on tap is the opening event of the four-race, four-track Tri-State Street Stock Series. The Street Stocks will start 33 cars three-abreast Indy-500 style. Admission is $12/adults, $5/children (6-12) and $25/family (2 adults and 2 children). Race fans can save $3 off the adult ticket price by obtaining a Dodge Super Coupon available upon a showroom visit to Dodge dealerships such as Miller Dodge in Lebanon and Newport Dodge in Newport.
