Monadnock Next Stop For ACT Dodge Tour

Winchester, NH - - A large field of ACT Dodge Tour Late Model stock cars returns to
Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH this Saturday, June 1, for the New England Dodge Dealers
100, which was postponed by snow two weeks ago.
The 2002 ACT Dodge Tour involves 16 events at nine tracks in Maine, New
Hampshire, Vermont, New York and Quebec. The first four races have produced four
different winners, Canadian Patrick Laperle, Jean-Paul Cyr, Jacob McGrath and 58 year-old
Joey Laquerre of East Montpelier, VT, who edged rookie John Donahue by a half car length
at Thunder Road Speedbowl last Sunday.
Saturday's contest on Monadnock's high-banked quarter-mile, is the first of three ACT
Dodge Tour events at New Hampshire tracks this month. White Mountain Motorsports Park
in No. Woodstock, NH hosts the series Saturday, June 8, followed by the Subway 100 at
Canaan USA Speedway Sunday, June 23.
ACT qualifying heats begin this Saturday at 5:30 pm. Gates open at 3 pm. 
Monadnock's Pro-Stock, Late Model, Strictlys, Mini-Stocks and 4-Cylinder Enduros will also
be in action.
