12th Annual Airborne Stock Car Show At Plattsburgh's Consumer's Square

Plattsburgh, NY - - More than 70 race cars will be on display in competition for cash prizes and trophies at Consumer's Square in Plattsburgh, NY on Saturday, April 27 from 9 am - 12 pm. The Airborne Raceway stock car exhibit is open to the public free of charge.
"Best Appearance" awards will be determined in the ACT Late Model, NAPA Flying Tiger, Street Stock and Renegade divisions, and presented during pre-race ceremonies prior to Airborne Raceway's 48th season opener, the Remington "4-10" Shootout, Sunday, April 28 at 1 pm. Criteria for judging the entries include overall appearance, workmanship, interior design and color scheme.
A practice session for all divisions will be held at the track (admission free) following the car show.
The Remington "4-10" Shootout consists of four 10-lap sprints in which Late Model competitors accumulate points based upon each finish (1 point for 1st, 2 points for 2nd etc). The driver with the lowest four-round total wins. In the event of a tie, the best final round finish earns the $5,000 first prize.
