Four racing divisions, the ACT Dodge Tour Late Models, NAPA Flying Tigers, Street Stocks and Renegades, will be in action opening day with a total of over 110 race cars expected. Three track champions, NAPA Flying Tiger Jerry Winch of Plattsburgh, Street Stock Jim Bushey of Mooers Forks, and Renegade Greg Wolcott of Georgia, VT, will begin their title defenses.

Twenty-one Late Model drivers are guaranteed starters in the 4th annual $5,000-to-win Shootout. Prior to the Shootout, a "last-chance" 50-lap event, which is also mandatory for qualified Shootout participants, will produce one additional Shootout entrant.

The Remington Shootout is comprised of four 10-lap sprints. The starting line-up is determined by the finish of the 50-lap last chance event, subsequent line-ups are set by inverting the prior order of finish. The four rounds are cumulatively scored, one point for 1st, two points for 2nd etc. The lowest overall total decides the winner.

Post time for the Remington "4-10" Shootout is 1 pm. Gates open at 10 am. Airborne Raceway is located off Route 22 in Plattsburgh, NY one mile south of I-87 exit 39.
